In order to feel connected to my family I used to photograph myself dressed up as different fantasy figures that I found comforting and took me back to my childhood. I would then paint these images of myself.
This was particularly important to me for memories of times such as Christmas.

I started as an artist from a young age, studying Decorative Arts at Camberwell College of Art and an HND at the London College of Printing. I then went through a time of travelling and personal development to get better perspectives on art today. On return I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I then diversified into clothing design and learned about digital imagery in a long period of healing and recovery. Over recent years I have returned to the paintbrush to achieve collections of work that I intend to put into some kind of digital book.
