We will walk this journey together - Nicola Wills

As this exhibition is about connection and mental health I have used two figures to depict close friendships with two individuals who are supporting each other during hard times and the yellow of the sun to depict the positivity of friendship for mental health recovery and the future. I wanted to show that it is much easier to get through mental health recovery with understanding and friendship. My style is extremely abstract so I have used black for the darkness of mental health but bright oranges and reds and pinks for the positivity of friendship and connection and the sun representing hope with people around to support you as a slight twist to the theme.
